Associate Professor, Centre for Nano Science and Engineering
Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru
Srinivasan Raghavan a Material Scientist by training works at the interface between Materials Engineering and Device Technology. At the fundamental end he explores the physico-chemical aspects of crystal growth in III-nitrides, 2D materials and oxides. At the applied end, a team of scientists whose efforts are coordinated by Vasu, has developed growth and device fabrication technology for state of the art high electron mobility GaN transistors on Si. Vasu is also actively involved in indigenous fabrication of tools for material deposition. In collaboration with UHP Technologies, a first generation Indian company, he has developed a commercial graphenereactor.
