Bengaluru INDIA NANO is India’s flagship nanotechnology conference and exhibition, and a trusted national platform that has successfully bridged nanotechnology research, industry, government, and academia for over a decade. The event is organized by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, under the guidance of the Vision Group on Nanotechnology, led by Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR). Bengaluru INDIA NANO continues to reflect Karnataka’s long- standing leadership in science, technology, and innovation, while reinforcing India’s global standing in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
The forthcoming edition of Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026, scheduled from 3–5 August 2026, in Bengaluru, will be anchored around the theme “Nanotech’s Next Frontier: AI & Beyond- Conceive, Converge, Commercialize.” The event will focus on strengthening the full innovation pipeline — from ideation and fundamental research to cross-disciplinary convergence and large-scale commercial deployment. The first day, 3 August 2026, will feature exclusive pre-event tutorials offering practical insights and hands-on learning, followed by the main conference and exhibition onstrong 4–5 August 2026.
With focused tracks on Nano in Semiconductors, Nano in Agriculture & Health, and Nano in Energy & Environment, Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026 will bring together leading scientists, technologists, startups, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers to address global challenges and emerging market opportunities. Karnataka Science and Technology Promotion Society (KSTePS) is a registered autonomous organization established in 2013 under the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Govt. of Karnataka. KSTePS aims at serving as a mechanism in supporting the preparation and implementation of policy initiatives of the Department of Science and Technology and act as a nodal agency in channelizing the funding and in coordinating programs of the Department across the State.

The Vision Groups act as a think tank of Government of Karnataka and help government in formulating various policies and initiatives to foster the Nanotech ecosystem in the state.
